This has been in motion for a while now, but I haven’t said much about it here, until now.
A few months ago, I launched My Best Interest Apparel. It started as a passion project, but it’s become something much bigger. I’ve always believed that what we wear should mean something. It should reflect our values, our sense of purpose, and our mood, just like music does. That’s exactly what MBI is about.
But if I’m honest, there’s a deeper reason I started this journey. My father passed away suddenly, and that loss hit me hard. He always encouraged us to live life fully, to maximize every opportunity, which translated for me as to never sit on my dreams. His passing left a hole, but it also lit a fire in me, a sense of urgency I hadn’t felt before. I realized waiting for the “right” moment wasn’t an option anymore. The time to build something meaningful was now because life is BUT a moment.
I didn’t want to create just another clothing line. I wanted something intentional. I wanted a brand rooted in elevated basics that carry messages and quality that matter. Pieces that feel as good as they look, and say something real without having to shout.
MBI is my way of embodying the values my father instilled in me. The vision was always clear: an upscale casual brand that blends luxury with comfort, relaxation with style, refinement with ease. It’s about moving through life with confidence, and being at your best, inside and out.
As I continue building MBI, you’ll start to see the worlds merge more. My music and my style are both reflections of the same heartbeat, so it only makes sense to connect the dots a little more.
